BMC Whale Watching

The excursion takes about four hours in search of cetaceans in the company of an experienced nature guide. In the first hour, the guide will provide an introduction to cetology.

It is important to know that the search for cetaceans in the waters of the Sanctuary requires patient monitoring and observation of the surface, remembering that wild animals are sought and there are no set times or points of encounter.

We have to accept a few hours of navigation, which will be rewarded by the emotions they give us.

Obviously this excursion takes place in the open sea, far from the coast, so it is important if it is your first experience or you are sensitive to the sea to take the right precautions: light breakfast, no dairy products or sweet foods, and if necessary take a sea pill 2 hours before departure.

During the excursion on our motorboat, you will participate in an educational lecture on ‘introduction to the world of cetology’, which will be followed by research and sighting with active participation of the passengers.

Accompanied by a nature guide, we will go in search of an incredible variety of species: the common dolphin, bottlenose dolphin, striped dolphin, minke whale, sperm whale, pilot whale, grampus and zyphus.
