Cetacean sighting in Savona – Whale Watch Liguria

Since 1996, the four-and-a-half-hour excursion into the heart of the ‘Cetacean Sanctuary’ is suitable for all ages and aims to search for and observe in the open sea the eight cetacean species that populate the marine area established by Italy, France and the Principality of Monaco. A staff of marine biologists and researchers is always on board to comment on sightings, provide information and trivia, and collect important scientific data. We collaborate with numerous research organisations and universities, participating in national and international projects.
The mark of High Quality Whale Watching quality, which we have obtained since 2019 (the year in which the certification was disseminated in Italy as part of the activities of the EcoSTRIM project funded by the European Union’s Interreg Italy-France Maritime Programme 2014-2020), is the flagship that confirms our Consortium’s commitment to carrying out cetacean watching in an eco-responsible manner.
