Pietra Ligure and Val Maremola

The starting climb takes us towards Ranzi, along the picturesque ‘hay trail’ until we reach the picturesque Church of San Martino. From here, we head towards the Cabanun, an ancient stone shelter used by both humans and animals. We take the Gatelle road and reach the hamlet of Giustinice and then resume the asphalt road towards Borgata Foresto. Another climb on a dirt road and then descend to the caruggi and the ancient wash house in Piazza San Liberata. The trail ends by returning to Pietra Ligure via the Napoleonic road and the Strada di San Damiano.
