N.13 Mount Piccaro Ring

After an initial ascent, the path immediately offers a splendid view from above over Borghetto Santo Spirito and the coast. Continuing on, the panorama becomes more and more spectacular: you pass through stretches of forest dominated by hornbeam and manna ash together with the holm oak. We continue and arrive at the crossroads of Monte Piccaro, from here in a few meters we reach the “Madonnina del Piccaro” (253 m), an exceptional panoramic point. Having returned to the crossroads , we resume the dirt track that descends towards Borghetto Santo Spirito , closing this fabulous ring.
