La Via del Ferro

This pathformerly connected the Marina of Pietra Ligure to the Isallo Ironworks, using exclusively mules as a means of transport. Remnants of this historic and important route can still be observed in the ancient bridges in Magliolo and Isallo, in the well-preserved cobblestone, and in the presence of the Bringhiera Mill, a seventeenth-century building with its l still clearly visible wheel. In addition to its undisputed historical value, this path is also remarkable from a naturalistic point of view as it is immersed in the Maremola Valley, an area rich in waterways, flora and fauna.
