Circular hiking trail

This circular hiking trail is 12 kilometers long. It starts from the church of Santa Caterina da Siena, the Patron Saint of Varazze. Climbing through a typical Ligurian Creusa surrounded by vegetable gardens you reach the Sanctuary of Madonna della Guardia (405 m). From the top you overlook Varazze and part of the Ligurian Riviera. Following the loop trail, you descend via a charming panoramic path, characterized by a dense alternation of rocky coves plunging into the vibrant, colorful blue sea, with a flat return path to the starting point.
