Ciappi Path

The trail is remarkable for its naturalistic and especially anthropic interest being immersed in the scrubland of the S. Bernardino plateau and due to the presence of the “Ciappi” which are slabs of Finale rock with numerous engravings from various eras, as well as small basins. Noteworthy is the “Ciappo delle Conche,” featuring rock engravings of various types: letters, crosses, stylized human figures, rectangles with divisions (probably land maps). Along the path, it is also possible to admire a suggestive permanent nativity scene in the woods created in a small sub-rock shelter.
